What to expect this year?

The Devan Shah Tea Festival – Los Angeles is now one of the nation’s largest tea festivals, bringing together tea enthusiasts and experts for two days of sharing top quality tea and in-depth discussions and presentations on teas from every origin. In the spirit of tea lover extraordinaire Devan Shah, we invite all to share our enjoyment. 

This year, we are excited to welcome tea exhibitors from all over Southern California to join in this two-day festival to continue spreading love for tea. 

We also invited speakers, who are tea-experts and tea-lovers from across the country, to host limited-seating tea classes to inform the world of all good things about tea. Reserve a seat now!

Interested in becoming a Tea Sommelier? We are offering a 2-hour Tea Sommelier – Apprentice Level Certification course taught by James Norwood Pratt and Bianca Shah to give you a concentrated overview of tea.

PRICE to attend festival: $20/person, which includes a merchandise bag with the a tasting cup, festival guide book – more coming soon.

Can I volunteer?

At the Devan Shah Tea Fest, anyone is welcome to volunteer and help our festival! It is a great opportunity to chat with tea industry people and of course, tea-lovers, while giving us a hand of help. For more information about volunteer positions and sign-ups, click here.

Who can participate in the Festival?

Everyone! From children to elders, tea enthusaists to those just looking for something to do over the weekend, anyone is welcome to attend. So, don’t forget to tell your friends and family about it and bring them with you for a good tea time.

Does the ticket price include the classes?

Unfortunately, you must buy separate tickets in order to attend the classes. Click here for the class schedule and sign ups. Update 9/6 – schedule and tickets coming soon.

Do I have to buy separate tickets for both days?

No. The $20 ticket price includes admission to the festival for both Saturday and Sunday.

Why should I attend?

There will be 40 tea exhibitors coming from all over Southern California who are giving out tea samples and tea education. Whether you are looking for something to do over the weekend or wanting to learn about tea, the festival will be worthy of your time.
